I hope everyone is having a great October! For those that don't know, Luz is no longer with Holy Family. I will be temporarily stepping in to help keep the program running until we hire our new Director of Religious Education.
Please keep Luz in your prayers and pray that God sends Holy Family their next Director of Religious Education VERY soon. This email is jam packed full of information and changes to the previous PSR calendar. So please read the WHOLE email.
Trunk or Treat Volunteers
Calling all Adult Volunteers and Middle School Volunteers!!! We need your help to make sure Trunk or Treat runs as smooth as possible! Please look over the list and consider taking one...or more spots. I am always happy to sign community service hour sheets.

As I mentioned before, I will be temporally stepping in to help make sure everything runs smoothly. But, I need some HELP!
I am looking for a list of volunteers that will be PSR Hall Monitors. If you are interested in helping at PSR; but didn't want to teach, or if you are just hanging around during that hour, or if you just want to help a guy keep his sanity...consider volunteering to be a Hall Monitor.
PSR Hall Monitor
We are in desperate need of a Hall Monitor for PSR sessions, sadly it does not include a cool vest or badge. Job Duties: Be present in the hallways during PSR, assist parents to finding their child's classroom, assist teachers or aides with making copies or answering questions, collect attendance sheets, and possibly fill in as a sub. Must have Protecting God's Children training.

Parish School of Religion Calendar
What has changed?
--- We are no longer doing Family Activity Days. These were sessions that were either 30 mins before or after PSR.
--- Instead of Family Activity Days, we are now doing two separate Service Blitz. A can food drive the months of November & December and the Kits for Kids collection in the months of March & April
---The teachers and aides got together and decided to cancel PSR on January 8th & 9th.
--- Christmas & End of Year parties have been moved to classroom parties instead of meeting in the Parish Hall.
Sacraments
Christen Cota, our Pastoral Associate, has taken on the duties that go along with Sacraments. If your child is in 2nd grade and is receiving the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, Christen will be reaching out soon.
If you have a child(ren) that is looking to receive; Baptism, Reconciliation, or Eucharist and is NOT in 2nd grade please provide information below or email Christen@holyfamily.com
